Terms of Service
Effective Date: 13 July 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Provibe App and Service. By registering for or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
Users must provide accurate registration information and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials. Users under 18 must access the Service only through the applicable verified-consent pathway (e.g., Junior Provibe).
2. Campus Ambassador Program
Individuals participating as Campus Ambassadors act as independent student representatives and are not employees or agents of Provibe. Ambassadors are solely responsible for representations they make to colleges, organizations, or other students on Provibe’s behalf, and for any content, materials, or commitments they create or promise in that capacity, except where expressly authorized in writing by Provibe.
3. User-Generated Content: Full Uploader Responsibility
This clause is central to the operation of the App and applies to all students, users, and Campus Ambassadors.
- Each user who uploads, records, posts, or otherwise submits content to the App (“Uploader”) is solely and fully responsible for that content, including its legality, accuracy, and effect on any third party.
- Provibe does not pre-screen content and functions only as an intermediary/host. Provibe does not, by hosting content, adopt, endorse, or verify any claim, statement, or material contained within it.
- The Uploader warrants that they own or have all necessary rights, licenses, and consents (including consent of any individuals depicted or referenced) to submit the content, and that the content does not violate any law, infringe any intellectual property or privacy right, or breach any organizational or institutional policy.
- Any legal claim, complaint, penalty, or liability arising from uploaded content — including defamation, copyright infringement, privacy violation, or violation of any campus, organizational, or governmental rule — shall be the sole responsibility of the Uploader. Provibe bears no liability for User Content and will cooperate with lawful requests to identify the responsible Uploader where required by law.
- Provibe reserves the right, but is not obligated, to review, moderate, restrict, or remove any content, and to suspend or terminate accounts, at its sole discretion, including at the request of a partnered organization’s designated moderators.
4. Prohibited Content and Conduct
Users must not upload or engage in content or conduct that:
- Is defamatory, obscene, harassing, hateful, or discriminatory.
- Infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right.
- Violates the privacy of any person, including sharing personal information without consent.
- Promotes violence, illegal activity, or incites unrest between organizations or communities.
- Is false or misleading in a manner intended to deceive users, colleges, or organizations.
5. Organizational and Committee Spaces
Where the App hosts branded spaces for partnered student or religious organizations, each organization’s nominated moderators are responsible for content moderation within their own space, consistent with the neutral multi-organization governance framework adopted by Provibe. Provibe does not control or take responsibility for the internal decisions of any partnered organization.
6. Intellectual Property
The Provibe name, logo, branding, and underlying application technology are the property of Provibe and may not be used without permission. Uploaders retain ownership of their original User Content but grant Provibe a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute such content within the App for the purpose of operating the Service.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App and Service are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Provibe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from User Content, third-party conduct, or reliance on any material accessed through the App.
9. Indemnification
Each user, including Uploaders and Campus Ambassadors, agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Provibe, its owner, and affiliated agency partners from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from that user’s uploaded content, conduct, or breach of these Terms.
10. Termination
Provibe may suspend or terminate a user’s access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any conduct Provibe deems harmful to the platform or its users.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ernakulam, Kerala.
12. Changes to These Terms
Provibe may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Contact
For questions regarding these Terms, please contact Provibe through the support contact provided within the App: support@edgesys.tech.
